Genetic Variation within a Population

Genetic variation is the differences in genes within a population. Genetic variation can be shown with differences in phenotype, genotype, or both. These are heirloom tomatoes(left) and cherry tomatoes(right) grown in my garden. They both belong to the same species and can interbreed, but they have very different phenotypes.
