An endotherm is an animal that can regulate it's own body temperature and keep it constant, or a warm-blooded animal. These harbor seals, like all mammals, are warm-blooded. Their bodies automatically regulate their internal temperature regardless of the external temperature. This picture was taken on a vacation to Shelter Cove, California.
